I had a pear tart and an iced mango matcha. The matcha was powdery and I wouldn’t recommend this (I probably should’ve known better than to order matcha at an old-school bakery like this) but the pear tart was great. The juicy pears were layered beautifully with crumb topping and cinnamon sugar, and presented nicely with sour cream and fruit on the side. The lady serving was friendly and the seating area is nice.
Very good place to eat breakfast in the Prague Centre. It’s cheaper than most of the restaurants and cafés in here and is still really tasty. I had a sandwich with cappuccino and payed only 250CZK. Delicious, great service, definetely recommend!
Absolutely delicious. Not a huge selection, but a couple of little rugbrød sandwiches were exactly what i needed as an antidote to traditional Czech meat+potatoes. Their gluten-free miniloaf/cookie/roll/things (?) are also amazing travel food. Their loaves and their pastries looked good too; i didn't get to try them. Highly recommended.
While out for a stroll, I stopped by this café for a quick coffee, but the dessert on display was too tempting to resist—and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The coffee was good, the place was quiet and peaceful, and the person running it was warm, welcoming, and friendly. Overall, it was a truly pleasant visit.
Very cozy place in the middle of a busy part of town. Good coffee and tarts. Petra was super sweet and kind and was the first person to welcome us with a big smile in this city!
