Jacob and Aneta were exceptional. It's always wonderful seeing a smile when you're served. The food was delicious and the portions quite generous. The service was great. Apologies for not leaving a tip, but we're not Americans and this isn't part of our hospitality standards.
This was my first time trying traditional Czech food, and it turned into one of my best food experiences in Prague. The menu was simple and easy to understand, which made choosing much easier. Everything we ordered tasted fresh, warm and full of flavour. The portions were generous, and the quality was much better than I expected for the price. The service made the experience even nicer. Our waiter was very warm and friendly, and he even offered to take a photo of us with the food without us asking. It was a small gesture, but it made the whole meal feel more personal. Considering the location, the quality of the food and the service, the prices were genuinely reasonable. For anyone who wants to try Czech food for the first time, this is a very good place to start.
Such a nice place with delicious food and lovely service! They even propose to take your picture if you want. No wonder it was always full. we were living just upstairs of this restaurant and always saw it full house. The prices are affordable and food is traditional czech food. we took beef goulash and a beef steak and a beer. Menu in various languages in English, german, italian, french, spanish, polish. It denotes how many tourists they must be receiving every year. But i noticed itnis a common practice in the Prague old town to provide all mentioned above languages menu.
Great dinner and even better service. The beef sirloin with cream sauce and chicken steak with mushroom sauce + grilled vegetables were spot on. Beer and wine were really good. Gotta try camembert! It was delicious. Staff were super friendly. Amazing experience, definitely recommend this place.
Warm, welcoming and wonderfully homely atmosphere at U Dvou velbloudů. Food was hearty, wholesome and served surprisingly quickly even during a busy period. We tried the beef goulash, roast duck, beef steak, potato soup served in a bread bowl, camembert cheese and apple strudel — and the roast duck was easily the highlight of the meal for us. A special mention to Roman and Dominik, whose cheerful, boisterous and genuinely friendly service style made the entire dining experience especially memorable and enjoyable. Their energy really added to the charm of the place. Overall a very pleasant dining experience with comforting Czech food and great hospitality. 4 stars because i wished there were outdoor seating comes with heater cos sitting in the cool Prague weather would have made the dining experience even more enjoyable and memorable.
