I had an excellent dining experience at Bonco this weekend. The quality of the sushi was outstanding: very fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. We also tried several other Asian dishes, and everything was equally delicious and well presented. What made the place even more special was the atmosphere. It did not feel like a tourist spot, but rather a restaurant genuinely appreciated by locals, which is always a great sign. The service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for authentic, high-quality Asian fusion cuisine in Prague, this place is definitely worth a visit. I will gladly come back next time when I am in the city.
Visited last weekend and was thoroughly impressed! I have allergies to peanuts, egg yolk, and soy but was craving Asian food. The staff were incredibly patient and made me a special version of Pad Thai using egg whites instead. It exceeded my expectations! The taste of the dish was a bit different from what I’m used to in Asia, but still absolutely delicious. The place is very clean, and I really like the decoration and vibe, with very polite and well-mannered staff. Thank you for the great experience, and I hope to visit again if I return to Prague.
The restaurant had a really cozy vibe and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s a large place with very interesting decor, which makes the whole experience feel special. The staff were attentive, polite, and pleasant throughout our visit. The meals were delicious and well prepared, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. We really enjoyed everything and will definitely be coming back again.
Bonco has that rare "mum and pop" energy that is hard to find in the middle of a city. It’s not trying to be the flashiest or most avant-garde spot in Prague; it’s just a welcoming, affordable, and incredibly approachable neighborhood gem that feels genuine from the moment you walk in. The Highlights: • The Food: While the sushi gets a lot of the spotlight, the kitchen really knows what it’s doing with the cooked dishes. The gyoza soup was a personal standout—comforting and well-balanced—and the salmon was prepared exactly as it should be: simple, fresh, and reliable. • The Kid Verdict: According to the kids, this is the best sushi in town. Even in the world- which obviously isn’t. The staff instills a "little magic" into the experience that somehow turns a standard family dinner into a highlight of their week. It’s rare to find a place that captures a child’s imagination without being a "themed" restaurant. • The Atmosphere: The personnel are truly nice people. It’s the kind of place where you feel like a regular even on your first visit. It’s unpretentious and easy on the wallet, which makes the high quality of the meal even more impressive. The Verdict: If you want a credible, high-quality meal in a space that feels like it’s run by people who actually care, Bonco is a win. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed dinner where the food speaks for itself.
The food was really delicious, I would give Bun Cha a 9/10 (not 100% authentic but really good), Pho Bo 7,5/10. Although the restaurant at the time was very full, the food was quickly served. Waiters there were super friendly and helpful. Always recommend you guys to visit this restaurant. I will definitely come back when I’m in Prague again 🥰🥰
