The food was amazing. The quater roasted duck was delicious and a perfect portion for one person. The beer was also great. The stuff was really nice and friendly. If you want to have an authentic czech experience you should come here!
A place that serves classic Czech dishes in generous portions. Their garden is nice, the location is also convenient. We have ordered the Goulash and Pork Knee, alongside with their signature draft beer "Krusovice", which tastes amazing. The goulash was too salty, didn't offer anything special. Otherwise the dumplings in it were soft and tasty. Regarding the Pork knee, it tasted good although in my opinion there are better places where you can find it cooked to perfection. I liked the crust, even though It missed my favourite crisp. What left a bad impression in me is that they served store-bought BBQ and Mustard sauces for it. What surprised me that when we asked the waiters to put our food for takeaway, they just provided us with boxes and left us to put the food in our own. That was definitely a first. Overall, worth a try. Nice atmosphere, average food and great, great draft beer.
Amazing food! Started with Betcherovka ... a traditional Czech aperitiv. We then had the Husinec special for two people. It consisted of roast duck, roast pork, ham, white & red cabbage and a variety of dumplings ... so, so delicious. For desert we had the apple strudel and the blueberry pancakes ... both really nice. We sat in the beer garden outside. The waiters are all very friendly & helpful. It is hard to find- it is across the road from the small park adjacent to the Museum. A small entrance down the stairs. Will definitely come back for another lovely meal. Reasonably priced as well.
We have been to this place last week, there is good energy from staffs working here, as we entered the guy (sorry did not get to get his name) working behind bar accommodate us with a table despite the fact we did not have a booking, the food was good and nice atmosphere, they are good bunch, not too pushy for tip where almost anywhere in Prague you are obliged and forced to tip even if you did not get the service you wanted. We left them a tip with pleasure, the guy with beard has applied our discount from Czech inn ground kindly, we truly enjoyed our experience, prices are reasonable as well. Sorry I left the review with delay, not to forget they do not charge you for cutlery which you find it very much in Prague. They are relaxed therefore we felt relaxed. Last night my husband and I visited Husinec and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was very warm and authentic. We tried the goose and the goulash, both of which were absolutely delicious and prepared in a traditional way. The mixed beer was also very good. Great flavors, generous portions, and a true taste of Czech cuisine. Highly recommended!
