Delicious 😋😋 keep on good on back. Best kosher TRDELNIK in prague. A must try here. Friendly staff, delicious soft and fluffy inside filled with strawberries and Nutella- my favorite- and a crispy sweet exterior!!! Love love and the vanilla ice cream to top it off -- ahhhh love it!!
It is definitely value for money, but it’s too sweet for even a sweet tooth like me. I personally didn’t find this worth the hype. I would try for the sake of trying. But if you have multiple folks with you, I would suggest going with one first and then ordering the second. The seating area was limited so you would need to stand outside and eat. There are also small shops and Jewish quarters nearby which is must visit!
It was my first time trying Trdelnik in Prague. The cafe has plenty of options to choose from. I tried the ice cream + nutella option. It was delicious - you can’t go wrong with this combo. The nutella was spread around the cone of the trdelnik so it was just the right amount and not too chocolatey. Do be mindful that the trdelnik comes only in one size and it was massive so definitely go in there hungry.
Yummy chimney cake which is worth the short walk from old town square! We had the apple strudel and the chocolate cream options which were both yummy. I wish the apple strudel filling was warm though and the products themselves warmer too. They were not stingy with the fillings and the chocolate cream one ended up overflowing everywhere when the cream melted! The service was quick and staff were friendly. They also have samples to try before you buy which was a nice touch. There is no seating but a small area inside to stand if you want to but we took them away and ate them at a park nearby.
The place is very well located, right in the city center, easy to get to and surrounded by a very tourist friendly area that is perfect for walking around and enjoying the city. This is one of those very typical experiences you absolutely have to try in Prague. The handmade cone, baked on rotating rollers right in front of you, is simply incredible to watch. Everything is made on the spot, which already makes the experience special. We ordered the cone with strawberry and ice cream, and the flavor was truly outstanding. Fresh, well balanced, and delicious. At the end, they finish it with sugar and cinnamon, which takes it to another level. You can really taste that everything is handmade. The place itself is small, with only about five or six seats available, but honestly, the main experience here is not sitting down. It is watching the cone being made, freshly baked on those rollers, and enjoying it right away while walking around. A spectacular and very authentic treat. Definitely a place you should try when visiting Prague.
