What a beautiful place to dine. I was surprised that despite being touristic, the staff are still attentive and kind. I was checked on a couple of times if everything was ok with genuine smiles. The food was delicious too. The baby chicken meat was so tender that it just fell apart using fork. I had a dessert called Sisi, the cake itself was more like a thin layer of bread. The filling was pistachio and had a hint of sourness that balanced the amount of creaminess. It was really really tasty. The “ice cappuccino” is already sweetened. I wonder if I can make it sugar free next time. I will come back again even during the short stay here in Prag. The bathroom was very clean and smells even nice. There is also wifi 👍 10% service charge included. Second time being here just for tea and soup. They said lunch menu is from 11am, and my soup arrived at 11:00 👏 the taste was amazing too.

A great place for a meal, both for the elegance of the venue and the quality of the food. We really enjoyed the starters, the chicken broth and beef tartare. The veal cheecks were incredibly tender and the beef Wellington which was just as impressive. We recommend making a reservation and visiting the restaurant not only for its excellent cuisine, but also for its beautiful Art Deco inspired interior.

Walked in for a late lunch after reading all the great reviews and wanting to experience this history cafe for myself. Didn't disappoint. This was maybe the best borscht I've ever had. I also got the rabbit gibblets off their lunch menu which was also very good. Kind of regret not getting any of their desserts but I was too full to even think about it!

We've made our way here twice. Once 15 years ago and then again in 2026. The art deco atmosphere is wonderful, the cakes and patisserie is delightful and it's definitely a gem you don't want to miss. Only regret is they have got rid of the beautiful golden swan taps in the toilets.

Café Imperial is one of those places that manages to impress both with its food and its atmosphere. I ordered the Imperial Breakfast and, at first glance, I thought the portion looked a bit small. In the end, it was more filling than expected and left me completely satisfied. Everything was fresh and well prepared, from the poached egg and avocado to the homemade granola with yogurt and strawberries. The quality of the ingredients really stands out, and the presentation is excellent. The interior is absolutely stunning. The historic architecture, detailed ceramic decorations, and elegant atmosphere make the whole experience feel special. It is worth visiting for the setting alone. The staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout my visit, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you are visiting Prague and looking for a great breakfast in a beautiful historic setting, Café Imperial is an easy recommendation. Excellent food, outstanding interior, and very friendly service. I would definitely come back. Highly recommended.
