LISTEN- this food was so good it made me cry tears of utter joy. (photo attached for proof) We came twice in our day and a half long visit to Prague and I wish we could live here just to have this beautiful meal every day. The beef soup is SPECTACULAR. The french fries are PERFECTION. Don't even get me started on the ice cream- it's beyond words can explain It tastes like pure love. (The vanilla is particularly magical). dear chef, I LOVE YOU 🩷
Great historic place to enjoy a meal. Build in the 15th century it is 2nd oldest restaurant in the district. The Beef Broth soup which takes 5 hours to make was amazing. Mushroom soup has a unique dill flavor and was fantastic. Great place to stop in for lunch.
Food was rather average, not bad but not great. Beef goulash had a great taste, however the meat was a tiny bit chewy. In overall the dishes were okay however for instance the soup rather bland in terms of taste, just a lot of salt. Not disappointed though as I say it’s okay and at least not overpriced but reasonable. First time trying Czech food as well so far so not sure…
This was a really cool accidental find. It was nice sitting on the street and watching all the foot traffic. The service was fast and friendly. I enjoyed the food, pictured is the grilled Camembert. This is in a row of restaurants that all serve similar food. Without having tried those, I can say I don't think you'd be disappointed here.
It has been a flop! It was frozen food, which can be fine if you said it beforehand. The problem is that they sell the experience as a "local restaurant" but it is totally prepared for tourist. The fried cheese has been 15€, for two frozen pieces and frozen chips. Same with sausages, extra small, oily... Meanwhile, they were playing techno music all the time, which make the experience less enjoyable. It looked more like a bar for spirit drinks than for having a lovely dinner. And VERY EXPENSIVE! Today we had two goulash with local beer for 30€, and for some sausages and the cheese we have paid 35€ here, I feel completely scammed! If you can, avoid this place!
