I had a wonderful dining experience here, not only because of the excellent food but also because of the exceptional hospitality. I started with the grilled shrimp with mango salsa, which was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. For my main course, I had the sea bass with risotto, and it was absolutely fabulous—beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor in every bite. What truly made the evening memorable was the outstanding service from Thomas. He was attentive throughout the meal, offered excellent recommendations, and made me feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. During dinner, there was a gentleman who repeatedly stared at me in a way that felt uncomfortable. Thomas noticed the situation on his own and discreetly asked whether I knew the person. When I told him I did not, he remained observant and professional, which I greatly appreciated. As a solo traveler visiting a foreign country and not speaking the local language, I was especially touched by what happened next. After my meal, Thomas kindly offered to walk me back to my hotel to ensure I got there safely. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that made me feel safe and cared for. I was so grateful for his kindness that I offered to add a tip to my bill, but Thomas politely declined. That level of genuine care and professionalism is rare and speaks volumes about both him and the restaurant. Great food, exceptional service, and hospitality that goes above and beyond. Thank you, Thomas, for turning a great meal into a truly memorable experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.
We had an amazing evening at Monarch. The food was absolutely incredible, and the staff were truly on another level. They made us feel special throughout the whole evening, and the atmosphere was perfect for such a memorable occasion. A special mention goes to Marek, who was honestly the best staff member I have ever met. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made our experience even more unforgettable. Highly recommended!
The filet mignon burger was a solid choice — well-prepared and satisfying. I did request no cheese but it still came out with cheese along with pickles that were not specified on the menu. The carrot soup was full of flavor and delicious. The service was excellent from start to finish — attentive, warm, and professional. A great spot if you're looking for quality food. I recommend giving them a try.
Gorgeous food. Staff were amazing and made my friends birthday really special. Didn’t know they were going to but they printed a picture of us to take home and done fireworks for a birthday sing song. Gorgeous gorgeous place fully recommend. Abi was amazing ❤️
I enjoyed an excellent meal at Monarch last night for Valentine’s Day. The food was exceptional, particularly the rib eye with bone marrow and red wine sauce which was delicious. The service from Tomas was excellent, friendly and professional. I also enjoyed a selection of Czech wines that complemented each dish. I would highly recommend the restaurant but be advised that it is at a higher price point.
