We truly enjoyed our gastronomic experience here. The service and ambiance were excellent. Every dish was excellently prepared and presented. A must try while in Prague.
After being turned away from another restaurant earlier in the evening, I have to say the universe had something much better in store for us. La Veranda was, without question, one of the highlights of my trip to Prague. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm, genuine, and professional. The host was gracious, the atmosphere elegant yet relaxed, and the service throughout the evening was exceptional. A special thank you to Pavel, who looked after us so wonderfully. He guided us through dinner and dessert with genuine care and attention, and even surprised us with an additional dessert on the house, which was a lovely gesture and the perfect ending to the evening. What impressed me most was his willingness to go the extra mile. The team was incredibly flexible with the tasting menu and happily accommodated a few dish substitutions at no extra charge, making the experience feel personal rather than rigid. Beyond the food, Pavel was also incredibly helpful in sharing recommendations for Prague. When we asked about places to visit, he took the time to provide thoughtful suggestions and a list of local recommendations, which was greatly appreciated. As for the food itself, every course was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The quality of the ingredients, the execution, and the attention to detail were exactly what one hopes to find in a Michelin Guide restaurant. What began as a disappointing evening elsewhere turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences of our trip. Looking back, being turned away was probably a blessing in disguise because it led us to discover this exceptional restaurant and its wonderful team. Thank you, Pavel, and thank you to everyone at La Veranda for an unforgettable evening. We will absolutely be back on our next visit to Prague.
The lunch here was excellent! The warm pita bread came with two great sauces: Paprika Cream Cheese and Green Garlic Butter. Both were outstanding, but the Paprika Cream Cheese was my favourite — super addictive! The Beef Tartare and other dishes were also very tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
We came to Prague for two days and were looking for a restaurant in the Michelin Guide, which led us here. The place is warm and cozy, with a very homey atmosphere. I loved the design and the flowers. We ordered the tasting menu, and every dish was excellent — delicious, creative, and full of surprises. The dessert was absolutely perfect. Highly recommended!
Best asparagus I've ever had – amazing meal at La Veranda Dined at La Veranda in Prague and had a fantastic experience. The asparagus dish was absolutely outstanding – honestly, I've never had better anywhere. Everything else was delicious too, from appetizers to dessert, along with great wine and coffee. Wonderful atmosphere and lovely service. I would definitely recommend visiting in general.
