What an amazing experience to bring my international guests to. Our server was very nice and I could hear that she even speaks German(!). The food was outstanding. I would appreciate the mains to come a tiny bit faster but we were not in a rush so no hard feelings. There was a group of Czech people at the table next to us which is always a good sign. Highly recommended!
Although a bit pricey for the portions, this was an amazing experience. The ambiance is simply perfect, charming and cozy. The service was far superior to most Czech restaurants, highly attentive and warm. The food was unique, beautifully presented, and delicious. Expect an expensive but memorable meal.
The flavors here are on another level. The deer and lion dishes were truly unique and cooked to perfection — something you don’t find just anywhere. And the veal tongue? Simply superb — tender, rich, and incredibly well-prepared. You can really feel the creativity and passion in every dish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something special and memorable!
Simply, one of the best! we loved every dish that was served. The Beef tartar, The foie gras, The Duck breast, and the aged Heifer Beef cut. all delicious, perfectly set and placed. the wine selection went well with the courses. simple and charming atmosphere. this was deffinitely one of our best experiences of the trip. After an outstanding meal at Tast’s sister restaurant, Uvoz—one of the best meals we had on our trip—we were eager to try Tast. It offered a different but equally memorable experience. I had the beef tartare at both restaurants: very good at Uvoz, but at Tast it was truly exceptional—easily one of the best beef tartares I’ve ever had in my life. The foie gras was also incredible, perfectly prepared and deeply flavorful. The menu felt refined and confident, with each dish showing real precision and care. A special mention goes to our server, Charles, who was friendly, charming, and incredibly helpful with his recommendations. His warmth and attentiveness made the entire experience even better. We also dined at Restaurant Mlýnec during our stay, but honestly felt that both Tast and Uvoz stood out more in terms of flavor and overall experience. Tast delivers high-end cooking without feeling stiff, and absolutely holds its own among Prague’s best restaurants. Highly recommended.
