We visited this restaurant for the first time to celebrate a special occasion, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. We had a wonderful evening from start to finish. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and the service was very friendly and attentive, explaining both the dishes and the wines. We chose the 35th Anniversary Menu and loved every course. Each dish seemed better than the last.. great flavors and presentation, but the true highlight was the veal.

I really cannot recommend this place, and I say that after spending 6,000 CZK here on a birthday dinner. We booked in advance and clearly noted it was a birthday celebration. None of it seemed to matter. We brought our own cake and were told we could not eat it on the premises — fair enough, perhaps. But we also ordered their own desserts, spent 6,000 CZK over the course of the evening, and still received no birthday greeting, no special presentation, nothing. Other tables around us got all of that without question. It was hard not to notice. The service throughout the evening fell well short of what you would expect from one of Prague’s higher-end restaurants. The food was fine, nothing more. At this price point, in this category, fine is simply not good enough.

A surprisingly delightful evening at a restaurant we entered completely by chance. We noticed the Michelin Guide 2025 recommendation sign at the entrance and decided to give it a try. Although the restaurant mainly featured 4- and 5-course tasting menus, we preferred to order à la carte. For two people, we started with a chilled beetroot soup and a burrata & asparagus salad. As main courses, we chose the free-range chicken and the veal Wellington. Since our stomachs were feeling a little sensitive that evening, we skipped the wine pairing and ended the night on a healthy note — of course, not before finishing with a delicious blackberry sorbet to sweeten the evening. The service was decent overall. Due to the layout of the restaurant, we were seated in one of the back rooms, at a somewhat cramped table without natural light. A young waiter took care of us; his English was a little difficult to understand, with what sounded like a strong French accent. Still, we managed to communicate well enough and received explanations about the dishes. In the end, the bill came to around 1,500 Czech crowns per person without wine, which felt reasonable for the overall experience.

This was my second time here and this time my boyfriend and I chose the 5-course dinner with wine-pairing. Beautifully served dishes, each with a unique taste and texture explosion. Vaclav (if I spelled the name correctly) was our sommelier for this evening and did an excellent job with introducing each wine for each course. The wine-pairing really elevated this dinner from a normal dinner to an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. Even though it is a fancy restaurant with excellent service, the atmosphere in my opinion was rather casual which I loved.

We booked this restaurant for our mother’s 80th birthday. We were very happy with the food, service & the birthday surprise desert that the restaurant has prepared. We were so well taken care of. Each dish was delicious & well presented. We will definitely come back if we visit Prague again & will certainly recommend it to our friends. Well done chef & the restaurant team!
