Decent steaks. Overpriced sides.Average service. Quite good selection of steaks. Comes with a high price tag though. Stake tartar as a starter was a good choice. As a side we chose fries with truffle oil and blanched asparagus. Not much truffle oil on fries and four stalks of simple blanched asparagus was a disappointment. Overall service was attentive but for some reason it took long time to take our order. The servers are well dressed and are trying to elevate the experience so it felt really odd when one person wearing sweatpants and t shirt kept coming from kitchen to the dining hall and sit at the bar...especially as their own dress code is smart casual and they ask guests to arrive in elegant well presented clothing. A bit pushy on getting tips too...but that seems to be common thing in Prague.
They really deserve the Michelin star! 🌟 The servers were SO sweet and nice, making sure the glass was never empty and even came out with a complimentary starter! Very unexpected. It was a delicious ball of something (they explained it but I don’t remember now -see video) it was SO delicious! The starter was so incredibly great also, the was they positioned it and explained everything. - it’s just awesome! You can really taste how good it was!! It was made by someone who knows how to cook. The main course was even more delicious (how is that possible????) the meat was done just as wanted and pre cut so you don’t need to use your time/energy on that. The side dish (grilled vegetables) INCREDIBLE!!!! Normally restaurant have a hard time with this, but NO!!! This was just so beautifully made. Every bite was more delicious than the last. The sauce was very nice as well (pepper(?) sauce) The dessert was unexpected as well, I thought it would be a tiny cheesecake, NO it was very big and SOOOOO yummy- I don’t know what I expected but this exceeded all expectations. All of the food was made with such care, really kisses to the chef(s)! Also minus was how much noice the restaurant had. They can’t of course control how other people behave, but the music was a bit too loud as well. That sucked a bit because it was very hard to hear what the people I was with were saying, we had to speak up a lot and that just ended with us also making a lot of noise- a bit of a mean circle I guess? The serves were so nice and so so sweet! I tried felling my water myself. And one of the servers saw and “hit” my hand away, with a “no that’s my job” - he was so cute for that. They also take your jacket at the beginning so that doesn’t take up space at the table, and THE CUTEST PART!!!!! If you have a handbag or similar, they will bring a mini chair for your handbag! I haven’t experienced this at other Michelin restaurants. It was a very nice touch It was a very pleasant experience.
The service was top tier, Dmitry did a great job serving us, very polite and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant. The music was not loud which I like, romantic atmosphere. Food is very tasty and you get a good portion of food. If life ever brings me back to Prag, I would love to eat here again. (unfortunately couls not try desserts and drinks cause of my autoimmune disease but I am sure it tastes amazing) Best regards from Josipa and Martin from Croatia 👌😁✨
Restaurant Review – Antricote We recently dined at Antricote in Prague. From the moment we arrived, the experience started strong — the welcome at the door, the ambiance, the menu presentation, and especially the quality of the meat were all excellent. The food truly lives up to the expectations of a high-end steakhouse. We ordered 2 main courses, 3 side dishes, 4 glasses of wine, and finished with dessert. Overall, the culinary experience was very satisfying, although understandably on the higher-priced side. However, the end of the experience significantly impacted our overall impression. After dessert, we were asked three separate times by different staff members if we would like coffee. After politely declining each time, a different staff member approached us about a minute later and informed us that they had another reservation and needed the table. While we understand the importance of reservations and timing, the way this was handled felt rushed and somewhat uncomfortable — especially right after multiple upsell attempts. It gave the impression that we were being hurried out rather than concluding the experience naturally. Due to this service inconsistency, I would rate the experience 3 out of 5. The food is excellent, but the service at the end needs improvement to match the overall quality of the restaurant.
We had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant yesterday. The service was absolutely outstanding – everyone on the team was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, and the staff gave us great guidance when choosing from the menu. My partner and I ordered three starters, and each one was delicious – not a single disappointment. The side dishes accompanying the mains were also full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The wine pairing was excellent, and the desserts were even more impressive, a truly sweet ending to the meal. A special thank you to Kirill for his exceptional attention and kindness, and of course to the whole team for making the evening so memorable. Highly recommended!
