We were met by the friendliest staff and sat at a romantic, cosy table in the window. Following the staff recommendations, we chose food and wine that didn't disappoint! We really enjoyed the whole experience, made more special by our lovely waiter and we will definitely be back for the tiramisu we didnt have time for next time we are in Prague!
It is a very nice place. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. There is good food for children and adults. It was pretty hot but they open a door and it became colder and that was very nice. It took a bit of time 10min+ to get our food but it was rush hour so that makes sense. I had pizza and the pizza tasted very good and was fairly priced. I took an half liter Kofola which was 60czk so it was pretty cheap for the volume. Although it tasted way to sweet and was much sweeter than normal Kofola. So in conclusion this place was very nice and I definitely recommend going here if you want some decent pizza or other food.
I had a fantastic dining experience at Mimosa! It is a truly excellent restaurant that captures the authentic spirit of Italian cuisine. It’s clear that they put a lot of heart into their cooking, and the quality of their ingredients is exceptional. The wild mushroom risotto was absolutely magical—perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. However, the real surprise for me was the pork ribs. They were easily some of the best I’ve had in Prague; incredibly tender and seasoned to perfection. While prices in Prague have definitely gone up across the city recently, the pricing here is very fair and completely justified by the quality. Highly recommended if you are looking for a memorable meal!
We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived, thanks to the friendly host. It was New Year’s Eve and the restaurant was quite full, but we received the menus and our drinks quickly. The food took a bit longer, though we didn’t mind at all — we had time, and the place was clearly busy. Coming from Belgium, we’re used to quite a high culinary standard, so for us this was simply good, honest food — which is why we give it 4/5, not because something was wrong, but because it was exactly that: good. We tried the pork ribs and the goulash on the host’s recommendation, and both were very tasty. The prawns were also nice. The host and staff were kind, attentive, and very friendly with children, which we really appreciated. If you’re looking for a place where you can eat something tasty at a very reasonable price, this is definitely a solid choice. It’s close to the shopping mall, tram connections, and about a 9-minute walk to the Old Town. Anyone expecting gourmet, fine-dining cuisine might not find culinary highlights here — but you’ll have a simple, pleasant, and enjoyable meal.
Excellent service and food. Went as a family with two toddlers and the staff couldn't have been any nicer, welcoming and understanding. Ribs were amazing and big portion! Strongly recommend. Not a tourist trap.
