A great place to try som Czech food and beer. Every dish was like by all in our family and we thought it was a nice introduction to this cuisine. The staff was attentive and helped us with some recommendations. It is close to a lot of the sightseeing points here in Prague.
A hidden gem in the Prague centre. Wonderful experience. Food was great and it fit even my Asian palette pretty well. We ordered the pork knuckle with horse radish + and a salad, and a dish of roast Pork with bread and pickled cabbage. Both were delicious. The prok was so tender it melted in the mouth. Generous portions. We had 3 beers as well and all cost about 50 EUR. The icing on the cake was the acoustic guitarist playing so gently in the background. The friendly and welcoming service staff added the warmth to the whole experience.
Me and my partner visited this restaurant on our anniversary trip to Prague. We both ordered the ‘duck leg confit’ and it was absolutely wonderful! The red cabbage did have quite a strong taste so if anyone else was looking at ordering this we’d recommend getting it with some mash as they paired perfectly! We weren’t a fan of the rose, it wasn’t a very sweet wine and they only had one option, so we ended up having a few sips of our glasses and not wanting to finish the rest. The main courses and the sides were a very reasonable price, I will say the restaurant do add a few service charges on, I’m not sure if you can have them removed but we didn’t notice until we had left and looked at the receipt. The roasted vegetables were lovely aswell, the courgette was really tasty.
Wow, this place felt like a little hidden gem! The food was so good, one of our group got the traditional beef goulash which we all tried a little bit of and it was very good! The service is really nice, and the outdoor seating area has such a good vibe. This was a little bit pricier in comparison to some other restaurants in Prague, but still great value for money for what we’re getting and in comparison to food prices in the UK - worth a visit if you’re looking for a restaurant with a mixture of traditional and non-traditional food (for those picky eaters!)
I visited this restaurant on 31 December 2025, and it was the perfect escape from the heavy snow outside. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and warm, making it an ideal spot for a winter meal. I tried the traditional Czech Bohemian dishes, and they were delicious! The restaurant’s interior is beautiful, and even the restrooms were impeccably clean and stylishly designed. Its location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the Old Town Square, just steps away from the famous Astronomical Clock and within walking distance of the unique Charles Bridge. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic taste of Prague in a beautiful setting!
