What a great recommendation by friends. The place itself has a very unique atmosphere, several floors, mixed with the kitchens (3 of them) on 3-4 floors. The build and structure is very unique , unlike other typical restaurants. The food is great, so many different flavors and tastes to select from. Variety of options, chicken, duck, pork you name it. The service is super kind
We recently visited SIA Restaurant during our time in Prague, and it left a lasting impression that we simply had to share. From the moment we approached the entrance — greeted by the dramatic dragon sculpture looming just inside the glass doors — we knew this was going to be something special. The architectural design of the space is bold, theatrical, and beautifully executed, blending rustic timber, industrial glass, and rich Asian-inspired décor in a way that feels both striking and welcoming. We were very impressed with the food and service throughout our entire visit. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm — nothing felt rushed, and every question about the menu was answered with real enthusiasm and expertise. It is rare to find a restaurant where the front-of-house team matches the quality of what arrives on the plate. And the food — extraordinary. The dim sum was delicate and perfectly seasoned, and the Peking duck was among the finest we have tasted anywhere in Europe. Each dish was presented with real artistry, and the flavours were layered and refined without being pretentious. SIA manages to be simultaneously impressive and comfortable — ideal for a special occasion or a memorable business dinner. The location in Prague's New Town is convenient, and the venue itself is unlike anything else in the city. We will absolutely return on our next visit to Prague and would recommend SIA without hesitation to anyone looking for a world-class Asian dining experience.
Sia restaurant is among the best examples of why Prague can be called a culinary heaven in Central Europe. It is an Asian fusion place, mainly focused on Peking-style duck. This famous two-course menu is highly recommended but there is much more to enjoy. Different kinds of dumplings.. full of refined and interesting flavours. You can also find some great seafood or authentic desserts. They always offer some special signature cocktail and good craft beer on tap. A visit to Sia is always a pleasure!
A lovely spot with real potential! The setting is charming and the staff are wonderfully attentive: knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely happy to guide you through the menu. The concept is creative and inviting, and you can tell there’s real passion behind it. That said, a few things kept it from being a truly memorable experience. The ventilation system could use some attention: the kitchen smoke drifts quite noticeably into the dining room, and if you’re seated on the top floor, expect stinging eyes by the end of your meal. Not the most comfortable way to enjoy dinner! On the food side, the crab and prawn dumplings, while pleasant, lacked a bit of punch: they could really benefit from bolder, more defined flavours. And the duck, though tasty, missed that signature crackling, lacquered skin that makes Peking duck so iconic and irresistible. With a little refinement in the kitchen, this place could genuinely shine. Worth a visit, but there’s room to grow :)

This restaurant is packed with refined design and conceptual elements throughout. Highlights include live koi carp swimming in a tank “above the guests’ heads,” visible cooling chambers for the restaurant’s signature dish – Peking duck – and a typical open Asian live kitchen located downstairs. From the lunch menu, I chose the tomato Šorba soup, which could have been slightly larger in portion, but was very well filled and featured carefully selected ingredients. Perfectly seasoned. A small pappadum would have complemented it nicely. To drink, I had a dragon fruit lemonade, which was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Slightly less ice and one more slice of fruit for squeezing would have been ideal. Alternatively, serving it already squeezed would help, as extracting juice over ice is difficult. As a main course, I had beef with egg noodles. Once again, very well balanced seasoning and excellent ingredient quality. However, the portion could have been a bit larger. The service was absolutely top-level – consistent, fast, friendly, and highly professional. I will gladly return very soon!
