We arrived at 21:20 because we saw on the door that the closing time was 23:00. Upon arrival, we were told that the kitchen was about to close and we felt pressured to choose the food on the spot. At 22:00, after finishing our meal (which was good, but cold), we stayed a bit longer to finish our drinks. 15 minutes later we were told that it was about to close. When we asked the waiter, he told us that the closing time had changed and since the restaurant was nearly empty they were going to close. This is unacceptable because if the closing time had changed, they should have informed us beforehand.
Called in as hotel was just across the road. Generous portions of the Pilsner Goulash with dumplings and potato pancake that both my wife and myself failed to clear our plates. Pilsner Urqel on draught was cold and refreshing, atmosphere in restaurant was excellent even though the ice hockey wasn't going to well for the Czech team. Definitely a place to return to.
We ordered the svíčková and the goulash, and both were delicious: rich, flavorful, and super filling. The service was excellent and unbelievably fast. The atmosphere was great too. If you’re in Prague and want a solid, satisfying meal with top-tier service, this spot is it.
Really nice place, well designed and with a pleasant atmosphere. The food is very good, offering traditional cuisine with authentic flavors. A big plus is the waiting staff truly welcoming, friendly, and attentive, they really make a difference. A place that definitely deserves a visit
Had Weiss Beer with homemade chips and sausage. Everything is tasty, comes with amazing homemade sauces and brings taste of Prague to your pallet. Great price, amazing atmosphere and exceptional service. The waiter spoke at least 3 languages with different guests. Recommend it!
