Tenderloin > tomahawk People often choose a tomahawk or something special as a dish to share but the best is the tenderloin. I was able to compare. Very good meat ! If you make a reservation, ask to visit the kitchen. Other were doing so but I was denied because it was already fully booked. For the rest all good. Great service & good food. Superfast also even thouhg fully booked.
A hidden gem!! Nikola (daughter/service) and Katharina (Mom/Kitchen Cheff) where awesome! We had a 3mo Dry aged T-Bone with veggies, peppercornsauce and meat jus, a bottle of Barolo and Kaiserschmarn! An absolte dream! BTW: Usually when we go abroad we try to buy 1 dinner plate to mix and match at home! After searching for 4 days in Prag we did not finde a single one! But they had one of the nicest plates we saw to date! We asked if we could buy one! Katharina offered it to us for free because she saw the happines and gratitude in our eyes! Absolutely brilliant! This was my second visit to Prague and my second time at La Vie — and somehow, it was even more magical than the first. From the very first moment, you don’t feel like just another guest; you feel welcomed, remembered, and genuinely valued. The atmosphere is elegant yet warm, the kind of place where time slows down and every detail matters. The food is not simply delicious — it’s thoughtful, beautifully presented, and full of depth. Every dish feels carefully created, balancing flavors in a way that makes each bite memorable. You can truly taste the quality and the passion behind it. What makes La Vie exceptional, though, is the service. Attentive without being intrusive, refined yet heartfelt — they have mastered the art of making you feel special. La Vie is no longer just a restaurant I visit in Prague. It has become part of my Prague experience. And I know with certainty that every time I return to this city, I will return here. My absolute favorite.
We made a reservation through WhatsApp. They were very responsive and helpful. They had two four person kitchen tables which is where we sat. They offered to let us help pick the steaks. The portions were extremely generous and it was cooked to the correct temperature for the fillet and ribeye. They had an extensive drink selection including different Rums which is a rarity these days. The service was very friendly and attentive. Would visit again 10/10.
